There are only two weeks remaining until the 27th annual World Cup Blue Marlin Championship (World Cup) on July 4. Many well known fishing teams have already registered to fish this unique, world-wide event.

July 4 is less than a month away and entries are being received from around the world. The World Cup Blue Marlin Championship (World Cup) is a winner take all, one day event with no second place. The biggest blue marlin over 500 pounds takes home all the cash.

As the only marlin tournament of it's kind, the 27th annual World Cup Blue Marlin Championship (World Cup), allows angling teams to fish anywhere in the world they wish. It takes place on one day only, always on July 4, and there is only one winner. Second place gets nothing. Teams fish from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM in their time zone.

The 26th annual World Cup Blue Marlin Championship (World Cup) is fast approaching and teams are registering to fish for 8 hours in their time zones. From Vanuatu in the South Pacific to Portugal, Canary, Cape Verde and Madeira Islands in the Eastern Atlantic, boats are preparing for the one day competition on July 4. Anglers from as far away as Russia and Kazakhstan will be fishing this prestigious tournament.

The unique, worldwide, World Cup Blue Marlin Championship (World Cup) is entering its 26th year on Sunday, July 4, 2010. In the past two years the winning teams have collected a combined total of almost $800,000. There is no second place in this "winner take all" event.
